WIBE Updates
New! There are changes in the fax schedule of the DWD for the time from the 06/10/2008 - 10/15/2008. This changes are included in software version 1.2.8.
Starting with Software Version 1.2.5 the barometre height can be adjusted. The boardcasting schedules can now be shifted an few minutes. This is useful if, e.g., the top or the buttom of fax message is missing.
Starting with Software Version 1.1.4 (Firmware 1.1.0) the WIBE now receives also the weather fax broadcasting from Northwood (UK). Now the software also contains a reception test for the DWD-RTTY-transmitters. Starting from the WIBE software version 1.0.1 an error was fixed in the displaying of fax maps.

You can download the device-driver by clicking on the links above. Please extract the driver in an empty folder. If Windows asks for a device-driver choose the folder with the driver as source. WIBE Documentation
WIB3 Updates
Starting with Software Version 1.2.11 the barometre height can be adjusted. Starting from software version 1.1.11 new received messages are highlighted in the menu tree of the WIB3 software. Thus new messages are easier to be found.
The WIB3-Software contains now a Synop decoder (starting from version 1.1.7).
Starting from the WIB3 firmware version 1.0.6 an error was fixed in the NAVTEX message management. With older firmware versions it can happen, that national Navtex messages (490kHz) will be stoed in the menu tree for the international messages (518 kHz). With the first start-up of the new software (with attached WIB3), you can update the firmware of the WIB3. Follow in addition the instructions on the screen. For updating of the firmware administration rights on your PC are necessary.

WIB2 Updates
For updating the WIB2-Software, please download the update program, by clicking on the above links. Attach the WIB2 to the PC. Start thereafter the update program and click on the Update-Button. Follow the on-screen instructions. In order to update the software you need administration rights on your PC.

WIB2B/WIBD/WIB2BX Updates
For updating the WIB2-Software, please download the update program, by clicking on the above links.
Starting from the WIB2D firmware version 1.0.3 an error which can lead to display wrong barometer data was repaired. Devices with an older firmware should therefore be updated. To the update the firmware please download the current WIB2B/WIB2D/WIB2BX software and install it on your PC. The old software should be uninstalled before. WIB2B Documentation

WIBD Update
Starting from the WIBD software version 1.0.7 an error in displaying messages was repaired. Devices with an older firmware should therefore be updated.
In the software version 1.0.6 an error in the Barograph has been repaired. In version 1.0.5 senseless air pressure data can be displayed under circumstances.
For updating of the WIBD software, please download the update program. Attach the WIBD to the PC via USB cable. Start thereafter the update program and click on the Update-Button.
